How to connect 5.1 speakers(Blu ray home theater) to computer

I have lg hb806 tm 5.1 blu ray home theater, sub woofer stopped working properly due to issue in sound circuit.
My question: is there any way to utilize the existing(sub woofer and the 5 speakers) of lg blu ray system with the computer to get the 5.1 Dolby digital sound.

YOur speakers are not powered, they need an amplifier ("amp") to work, and this is what your HB805 used to do.
Subwoofer could be powered or passive, and if you can live without it, you could probably connect your PC to the LG over optical in connector (and you would need sound card with optical output).
