Hello,
I had a Panosonic surround sound system, I broke the receiver. So I went to Best Buy an I bought a yamaha receiver. The receiver requires a audio pin input for the subwoofer but the subwoofer i only has speaker wire. I went to Radio Shack and they sold me some Solder-type Phono Plugs, I cant figure out how to connect them. Can someone help me out.

It's a bit difficult to determine what you actually have, based on your description.

1: If the subwoofer does not have a built-in amplifier this may not work.
Q: does the subwoofer connect to a 110v wall plug?

2: sounds like your receiver has an RCA phono plug output for the subwoofer, and your subwoofer has a phono-plug input.
A: Radio Shack should be able to sell you adapters to make this work.

hope this helps
