How to connect composite to LG 32CS460

i have just bought a new LG 32CS460 and it has component and composite slots together when i tried to connect my composite VCR the image i get is black and white, and i have any idea how to connect my composite VCR , any comment will be appreciated,

Double check there are no cables in the Red and Blue connection on the back of the set. If the set senses a signal there, it would turn the RGB component video section. If that doesn't help, i'd contact LG support, shared inputs have always been wonky.

i found out that the TV did not support analog so that was the reason but thanks for info and help,.
