A americanaudiophile Titan Aug 27, 2008 14,933 147 103,240 Jan 10, 2013 #3 Your post is not clear about what you are connecting to what but if by avi you mean composite video (a yellow RCA) and a left and right audio (usually red and white RCA) then you can't since those are analog and HDMI is digital so just a cable will not work.
