The optical output is the best choice.
But it doesn't look like your Kenwood has a digital input. It looks like it has only stereo inputs. You would have to use a converter like this one -- https://www.amazon.com/Optical-Toslink-Coaxial-Digital-Converter/dp/B01DZXWHJA/
