How to connect my 5.1 creative speakers with mini plug to a Samsung led tv series 5

My creative 5.1 speakers are having mini plugs
How to connect it to tv
Pls explain by step.by step

You will need a decoder like this one

Optical out of the TV (set to surround sound) connects to it and your mini plugs connect your speakers to it.
The optical out is fixed (TV volume will not change it) so you speakers will need their own volume control.
