This is how you fix/remove a browser hijack.
Step 1.
Uninstall the program from the computer.

Find out what the "hijack" is.
Step 1.2.
Find the program in Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features)
Step 1.3.
Uninstall the program.
Step 2.
If you cannot find the program in the Control Panel, look in Extensions and Plugins.
Step 2.1.
Disable/Uninstall the program.
Step 3.
Uninstall your browser. If you are using Internet Explorer, download another browser such as Firefox, Chrome, Opera, or Safari. Any of the browsers will work.
Step 4.
Reinstall your browser.
