how to fix sd card that wont read in my gionee p3 but read on my laptop

My sd card was working fine in my gionee p3 phone and I was downloading books from sites and suddenly it does not show my sd card on my phone but works perfectly fine in mt laptop( all the files are ok , cut, copy , paste works) but I could not use my sd card in my phone.

Is the phone work with another sd card?
