What are you trying to do? Reinstall Windows? Restore to the factory settings?

Please clarify.

(1) Take HDD out of 'Netbook and attach it to another computer. Requires 2.5" HDD-USB adapter.
(2) Use a bootable USB thumb drive 'RescueCD' that has tools to let you do disk management functions like format.

Ubuntu Desktop has instructions on how to make a bootable USB thumb drive.
Use the F12 to get the Advanced Boot Menu so you can choose to boot the USB device.
It's not Windows - but enough like Windows you might be able to view your files on the hard disk if it's still accessible.
