how to get 5.1 true surround or virtual surround aound from my rig?

Bare with my English... Please help me to get true 5.1ch surround sound or virtual surround sound.
I bought new Sony BDV E-3200 home theater.

Connections:
1) Home theater to TV - I connected Home theater to my TV Sony ex42 32inch (it is old non smart TV) through HDMI ARC IN
2) TV to PC - And my TV IN to PC OUT of Nvidia geforce 760 graphic card's HDMI.

It is working fine, sound coming through all speakers. But, i don't get that true 5.1ch effect which i heard while buying the home theater.
Please help me to get that true 5.1ch surround sound or virtual surround sound. As if now i'm getting same sound from all speakers.

Cpu - intel 3770k

Please help me without adding the AV receiver (i'm out of budget).

The way you should have things connected is the PC connects to the receiver to get audio audio, the receiver goes to the TV HDMI port for video using the receiver pass-though.

Don't use a PC, just hook the TV to the home theater system.

Check that the TV audio output is set to 5,1 bitstream.
Check that the PC is set to output 5,1 over HDMI to the TV.
Check the audio decoding, sound setting, and mode on the HTS. Auto may not be the best option with some sources.
Lastly your source on the PC has to be in 5.1 surround sound. The PC will not usually have a way to synthesize 5.1 but the HTS always does. It won't sound as good as digital surround.

pc out is mono cant find how to change it to 5.1
