How to get audio out of a Comcast cable box

Have Samsung Tv with no audio out jack. When I had dish network the satellite receiver had an audio out jack. Is there a way to get the audiio from the cable box?

you'd have to pass the hdmi through your home audio set-up and then from there to the tv to be able to strip out the audio for home theater. i assume this is why you want to do this.

if your tv does not have the audio output, then this would be the only way i can think of to get an extra audio signal. does your theater amp have hdmi input/output?
