how to get my phone off automated device reset when phone has been factory rested

My phone got factory rested due to ex getting mad and then someone went and put the wrong phone number and email in there when they did the auto reset cause I couldn't remember the password. Called apple support and oi just have to wait for the email but its been two weeks. My question is that there's a way to still send the text to my number or email, is there a way to switch out the number to a different phone or computer so I can receive the text and go threw with getting the passcode?

There is nothing you can do without the help of your provider/carrier or the phones manufacturer. We cannot assist with password/access issues.
