how to get Note 2 out of safe mode without power button

I have a note 2 that is stuck in safe mode .I have downloaded skipsoft android toolkit but it will not recognize my phone.I have downloaded drivers several times to no avail.I just want to reboot my phone in normal mode but cant without a power button. Any help is appreciated .

Pull battery. Put battery back in. That should do it. Why can you not use the power button?

believe me Ive tried that ..power button is broken .I guess I may have to just order a new button but Im in dire need of some contacts.I own a small business and have some important numbers and texts I need .

Safe mode should still allow access to contacts... What happens when you go to the contacts?
