So I use my laptop for gaming and I tried to download a skype-like app called Discord. During my download an error occurred and I never even opened the app before I tried taking it off my computer.

Now every time I turn my laptop on I get a message saying "a JavaScript error occurred in the main process" followed by "uncaught exception" which I think is important, and then a list of functions and modules that I don't really know means.

I've deleted the app but this will not go away, what do I need to do?

"Javascript" rather than just "Java" suggests this is a browser related issue, could you screenshot the error message and post it here, I might be able to offer a bit better advice then.

I have the same problem as described by Dan...here is the full message I got. Please send reply to [don't post your email on a public forum]. I'm hoping you can help with this annoying issue.
