What exactly do I need to do? Do I need a coax to HDMI adapter? I have HDMI out running from my receiver to the TV.

Solution USAFRet Aug 18, 2013 zhengche : USAFRet : zhengche : USAFRet : Audio out (L/R RCA cables) from either the TV or the cable box to the receiver. I don't have access to the cable box. Would using optical out or the RCA cables give better audio quality? Optical. And what do you mean by 'don't have access to the cable box'? I'm talking the settop channel changer thingy... Right - I meant I'm not close to it. I have a coax outlet in my room that runs to my TV. And thanks. ok then...TV out, either optical or RCA, to the receiver.
