how to hook up a blu ray player to two tv's

I don't see why not, but viewing both, simultaneously may be problematic.

On many Bluray players when you plug in the HDMI cable at both ends it will turn off the component output. If your manual doesn't say then just try it. You can unplug the HDMI when you want to use the component output. You will also need to feed audio to the 2nd TV.

hooked both TV's, one HDMI, one component w/audio cables and was successful feeding picture and sound to both. I know what you mean about canceling out component output, I tried the same with my
Comcast HD cable box and it didn't work. I ended up getting an HDMI splitter from Monoprice that solved the problem. Thank you for your quick reply from my first post

Many Blu-Ray players only have 1 HDMI output port, but for under 25 dollars this component would solve your dilemma. yes, I am using a HDMI splitter for my HD comsast cable box and DVD is working with HDMI and component cables but will upgrade to another HDMI splitter as you suggest for 1080p on both sets
