How to Install and Use Spotify on Roku

Roku digital player is known for its easy navigation, a wide range of user-friendly features with an intuitive User Interface. The latest addition to its features is that the Spotify application is back to the Roku channel store and you will now be able to play songs from that, edit the playlists. Here is how you install and use the Spotify application on your Roku device.

Step 1
An initial step is to press the ‘Home’ button as shown in the figure. This will helps the user to see all the options visible on the Roku TV.

The next step is to scroll up and down the options to locate the streaming channels options. The scrolling operation can be done with the help of the Roku remote. You need to select the option ‘Streaming Channels’ to view all the channels available.

In the channel store of Roku, if you find the Spotify app, you can select the ‘Spotify’ app with the help of your Roku remote. On clicking ‘Spotify’ you need to choose ‘Add channel’ option to install the Spotify app successfully.

On opening the Spotify application, you can select the ‘Search’ option to begin the search for the songs you prefer.

To view the created playlist, you should select the ‘Playlist’ option to view the entire playlost created.

On selecting the album, you might see a list of songs and can choose one among them. You can also click on the ‘Artist’ option to know the artist, similarly for star, playlist and album name. You can also click repeat option for playing the song in loop mode.
