How to install windows xp on dell inspiron 1520?

So i downgraded to XP because my laptop wasn't simply supporting windows 7
But i think something went wrong and I want to reinstall it. Can anyone help me out with the correct configurations?

Did you do a fresh install of windows XP? Once you do a reformat and fresh install you will need the CD with all the drivers for your laptop. If you don't have this CD anymore then you need to get the files from the manufacturers website onto a flash drive or other high capacity media just incase you are not able to use the internet after your reformat. Install your drivers and you should be all set. Let us know if something specific is not working correctly or if you do not know how to reformat.
