What specs do I need to match when purchasing a replacement laptop screen? I have a Acer Aspire one 753 MS2296. The model of the screen is N116B6-L02 .

Looking it up by the screen's part number I found this http://www.laptopscreen.com/English/screen-part-number/N116B6-L02/ While size is an obvious spec, I will recommend making sure the screen is the same model number since the connectors may change between models

Are you planning on replacing it yourself? If so, only do so if you've done it before... because it's complicated. I once had an old laptop that I wanted to give away... but the backlight burned out inside it. I checked around for PC repair shops and found one locally that only charged about $75 for the actual replacement screen plus another $45 for the labor. That was a decent deal.

What do you mean specifically with part number? The Monitor Hardware ID? the serial number? I have a Sony Vaio VPCEA30EL with a SNY05FA monitor, serial number 1, and need to know compatibility for upgrade screen. I want to replace this for a 4k touchscreen, it is possible?
