So I was on some site that downloaded 3-5 of the same file caled "Sharewithus.exe" or something like that. I was alerted of there download and of course never ran them, so I deleted them from my recycle bin. I scanned with windows defender and no threats were found, but I just want to ensure my PC's safety. Do I need to install a program to even further delete the "deleted" files on my hard drive? Or am I ok to do business as usual?

You'll want to download and install Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware. They have a free option that does a great job.

Do you use any other antivirus/antimalware on this PC? It is inadvisable to go it alone with only Windows Defender.

No, it's a new PC. Built it at the end of last month so I had Norton running until it's trial ran out a day or two ago. I plan on installing avira and malware bytes today when I can. What option are you talking about though? To help my problem, I mean.
