How to move an MMS to Messenger

Is there a way to send, via messenger, a long text, which I first sent by MMS but which has not, for some reason, been received by the recipient, despite telling me it was 'sent'. Thank you for your time, really appreciate any effort to help me.

You could copy and then paste into a new message. Or, if you have text messages enabled in Messenger, you might be able to forward the old message to the recipient again (via Messenger this time).

Thank you, COLGeek, I did try to copy and paste but only got as far as 'copy'. Nowhere did it invite me to 'paste' or 'copy and paste'. Where did it copy it to? I couldn't find it nor any mention of it. Just 'copy', which I did. I have Xperia Z3. Any ideas?
