Hi,

I need to replace the left side speaker. I removed the cover and could see the speaker however, it does not move.
The 2 white screws at the left and right which seems to hold the speaker were removed but still it does not move.
What else should be done to get it out?

Also do you know where I can find a new speaker to replace this faulty one?
I have the picture showing the speaker after I removed the cover but I could not find a way to attach it here.

Could you explain how you disassembled the speaker? I do not see screws inside nor outside.

You can buy speakers MANY places. I am at the final stage of replacing my speakers with 2 new ones of the same size and impedance, but I can't figure out how to get the plastic cover on the back of the speaker off. I am considering drastic measures to get it off.

There are screws inside the ear cups - you remove all of those and then the back of the headphones pops off. This exposes the circuit board and the speaker cover from the back. I have tried to pry this speaker cover up with a flathead screwdriver but it is on there really really good.
NOTE: When removing screws from the circuit board, be very careful not to pull the cirtuit board away too hard as it is attached to a very tight/short wire. It would be fixable but best to take it easy on it.

If anybody has successfully removed the speaker cover from the back, please post how you did it.

When the cover is removed, it will look like this: https://hackadaycom.files.wordpress.com/2013/12/qc15-naked-e1415917272218.jpg?w=800 The speaker was already taken out for this shot (It is a shot from QC15's but it looks identical to the QC25's besides this rear speaker cover)

Will post with updates if I figure out a way to remove the rear speaker cover without drastic measures.
