How to remove Red background from Samsung smart tv while watching dvds on new RCA new surrond sound
Dvd player. I do not have cable nor do I want it.. Lol , thank you so much!

If you want specific help we need to know the model numbers of the TV and DVD/HTS and how they are connected.
If you are using a yellow RCA cable to get the picture to the TV and it has a shared component/composite video input then you need to change the input to composite in the TV menu. Component video is three RCA jacks (red - green - blue).
