how to remove write protection from sd

I am not able to delete or format my transcend 16 gb memory card... Its says memory card is write protected......

Take a look at the left hand side on the above picture ... see the little yellow tab?

Flick it into the up position (where it is now).

It must be in the "Lock" position ... meaning "read only" or write protected.
