How to reset gateway LT2104u

what to press for a system restore? i am unable to boot into windows 7 starter either normally or in safe mode without this fake antivirus popping up. thanks

I believe for gateway's it is ctrl+ f10 or f11 when you first turn the computer on. Are you able to run a malware/virus scan in safe mode?

on the model LT2104u, it is Alt + F10 (hold alt, and repeatedly push F10)
