How do I set default download location to external sd card on my Samsung galaxy tab S. I have no feature on the tablet to do this. I would like to also transfer my downloads to free space on my tablet.

Took me a while to find this feature myself! Finally I located it at the following:

Settings > Applications > Internet > Advanced > Default storage > SD card

Thank you twoc this solution worked well for me with my Samsung Galaxy On5

Thank you from me also. I've been looking for this.

Well, I just was alerted to an Over-The-Air (OTA) update two days ago so I updated my Galaxy Tab S to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and now it seems a little different again.

Firstly, I was not able to see any settings for Internet on the secondary account. That made me a little confused.

But finally when I switched back to the first account, I found the location is now:
Settings > Applications > Internet > Advanced > Save content to
The "Save content to" has two options, Device and SD card.

I have the Tab S and Android 6.0.1 but when I go to Settings > Applications, there is no Internet option to select.

Help!

Try this: Settings > Apps > Samsung Internet > More Settings > Advanced > Save content to > and slect "SD card".
