How to Switch Between a Personal Facebook Profile and Brand Page

A Brand Page is different from a Personal Profile in the way that a personal profile is an individual account that reflects the life of the person who created it, while a Brand Page is a commercial page that is meant to either promote or sell something. They can be used for businesses or other various organizations. Follow the steps below to learn how to access your brand page from your Facebook profile:

Step 1: Go to https/www.facebook.com/pages/create/

Step 2: Choose what kind of page you would like to create or click on “Pages I Manage” located on the top right hand corner of the web page.

Step 3: You will be brought to the pages you manage or you can create a new page. From here you can manage your accounts.

Step 4: If you wish to go back to your personal profile, click on your name, which is located next to the search bar at the top of the screen.

Step 5: If you want to go back to your Brand Page, then click on the “Pages” option located on the left sidebar of the screen.

Recap: Through your individualized Personal Profile, you are able to manage multiple pages. You cannot actually turn your personal page into a Brand Page, but you can manage a Brand Page through your personal page. That allows you to easily keep business and personal affairs separate.
