How to turn on closed captioning comcast remote

Hello,
hi how do i get the closed captioning on my tv?

Power off the comcast box, leaving the tv on. Press "Menu" on the Comcast remote. When the service menu comes up, nudge the CC option to CC1. Hit "menu" until the screen goes black, then power on the box.

I guess they couldn't be bothered to make a key for that.

When you press menu some info will show on your box display.
Press the down arrow a few times. Something should show on your tv then.

Take your comcast remote (main controller) a dclick on
Xfinity, you will see tbe Xfinity menu. Guide-Saved-On demand-Search-Apps and a gear looking symbol. Go to Device settings and you will see the cc settings.
