how to upgrade my laptop so I can play Fallout 4

this May be stupid of me BUT! i got a free lap top HP dv6 notebook. i recently bought Fallout 4 not realizing that my computer does not have what is required to play the game lol, of course impulse buy. anyhow, what can i do to make it so that the aformentioned laptop could run the game and play. I only have the one computer so IDK, what else I can do other than trying to get my money back. any info or reasonably sane answers ?

what is the exact model of hp dv6? Most likely can't be upgrade other than RAM or ssd

if it cant play it now, there is nothing you can do

99% of laptops are not upgradable beyond hdd or ram

Add RAM, swap in an SSD. Maybe even change the CPU (within a very narrow range of options).

Sell the HP and buy something else?

hp pavillion dv6 notebook pc. i know it has 4 gigs of ram and the game requires 8 gigs or more, also the processor is 2.20GHz and a larger processor is required, Idk what the video is because The computer does not say either nvidia or amd, most are integrated but i don't know.

It's not only the processor GHz , but rather which processor.
Likely there is nothing you can do to make this laptop run that game.
