How to upgrade ram on acer e5-473

i have new ram. and i have place it to the socket. but when i load to bios, cant read a new ram i installed. so.. how to make my new ram can read in bios? sorry for my bad english

Hi,

First make sure that the RAM you have is supported or compatible with your laptop. According to the specification of your laptop, maximum RAM for it is 16GB you already have one 4GB RAM inside it. The RAM you also need is a DDR3L SDRAM and two 8GB cards to make it 16GB. RAM's are actually plug and play and you don't need to configure anything else to make it run.
