How/what to test in HP elitebook 6930p laptop charging circuit

I think something in my laptop's charging circuit has gone bad because I tested the adapter and power Jack and they're both fine, I even tried removing the battery and holding the power button for 30 seconds. what components should I test. It's HP elitebook 6930p
