Hello guys, first of all i'm sorry to disturb you guys, i've also tried to register on the Italian THW forum but the italian one has bugs.

Btw, i'll tell you my problem:

I've bought an HP 15-g054nl with AMD Radeon R5 (CPU) and AMD RADEON HD 8570M 2GB DDR3 (Dedicated)

I've tried to open the bios (i've InsydeH20 Bios Utility) but it is locked and i have no idea about how to unlock it without flashing the bios.

I've tried with Catalyst Control Center but i cannot select which GPU to use, only the performance (and it will not use anyway my GPU)

I've no idea what to try more.

Hope someone of you guys can help me

Thanks in advance.

EDIT 1: I've also noticed that in tray icon i find 2 times R5 GPU but not the Radeon HD 8570M One

press f10 while it starts. it should access the bios. look for options like init which graphics first, should be the 8570 first. install the latest non beta catalyst drivers from the amd site, those should help too.

I'm really really glad to you for your reply.

I've a little knowledge of bios, and i haven't advanced options on it, i just can edit boot device, virtualization and other few things.

My bios is InsydeH20, i've also updated it from the official HP Page of my Notebook

Already tried both things.. seems useless..still using integrated one..

My brother bios (he has an i7 and a DEDI GPU):

My bios (have AMD GPU and CPU):

Hm, but virtualization maybe is needed for run some applications?

That is the strange/weird thing, i haven't switchable graphics @ bios, i will disable the key thing..atm in live chat with HP, they are remoting support through logmein

They starting saying after helping me via their remote control, that this laptop has been designed for only few countrys and they haven't any more information, so i have to contact HP Italia when their support is open (lazy ass italy sucks, mon - fri 08 to 17..)

STILL HAVING THIS ISSUE!

I've a dedicated GPU just to fill the laptop case :d

in all fairness, don't expect a huge difference from the dedicated one. it's only about twice as fast compared to the integrated one. (the difference isn't as huge as with intel integrated and nvidia dedicated cards)
