HP Compaq 615 vs HP 635

Hello All,

Just a quick question- is it worthwhile to 'upgrade' from the HP Compaq 615 to the HP 635. My Compaq 615 just packed up and the insurance company are willing to give me an HP 635, is it a decent upgrade or am I being ripped off? It seems as though the CPU in the 635 runs slower (1.6GHz) as opposed to the 615 (2.1GHz). I know very little when it comes to mobile CPU's and what not.

Is it really that much worse? The laptop does have 2GB RAM as opposed to 1GB. I suppose there is nothing I can do since that is the only option...

What type of cpu. If the old is athlon and the new phenom. Then it s not that bad and 2 Gig is good

The CPU is AMD Dual-Core Processor E-350 1.6GHz
