So I ordered a charger from amazon not too long ago and am a little confused. The charger I bought is
AC Adapter Battery Charger for HP Compaq 6830s 6910p 8510p 8510w
My computer is a HP Compaq 6910p.
The new one I bought said it would work for it and I was told because the difference is by only a tiny bit it should work.
New charger
Input: 100-200V ~ 1.2A
50/60 HZ
Output: 19V 4.74A
Old charger
Input: 100-240V ~ 1.6A
50/60HZ
Output: 19.5V 33.3A
I am not tech savvy at all so please don't be rude. I am just confused and upset
Additional info: I figured I needed a new charger because my old chargers charge started to trickle down the percentage lower. And then came the cha cha cha dance. (Moving and bending the cord till it started charging)
Do I need a new battery?
Is it fried?
I ask because the new one let the charger light up for 3 seconds before cutting off (laptop was already off)
