Hello guys
I happened to change the screen of my laptop after breaking, But as I was connecting the new screen i forgot to switch off the laptop power. So on connecting the screen flex cable to the jack on the screen it short circuited and sparked with a bright light, leaving the top of the flex cable bunt while the laptop switched off immediately.
After that it didn't switch on till I opened and disconnected the flex from the motherboard,
I connected an external VGA screen but nothing was displayed. I then performed a hard reset on the laptop but all in vain. ( removed cmos battery , HDD, RAM , etc)
Since then it is the laptop is booting properly, and running normally, but not displaying.
What might be the problem??
Is it a Bios problem??
is it the display adapter, that was affected ??
I changed the processor, but still nothing came up.
