Looking for a way to increase volume without earphones or external speaker.
I have working laptops, both of which have insufficient volume for my use. Both of them are running Win 7. I'm looking for a way to boost the volume so I can watch movies, videos and listen to audio books. I would find a USB speaker useful if it was the size of a thumb drive. A driver probably wouldn't work as the two laptops are different brands (HP/Compaq and Toshiba). I have a bluetooth speaker that works after a fashion, but battery life is poor and it's not very clear for voice.
Has anyone seen a USB thumb speaker that might fit the bill.
