Hey,
I am planning to buy one of these laptops and ran into a tight spot will choosing the right one so i decided to ask here. the 6165tx has a 6770m but a 2nd gen core i7 2670qm whereas the 7010tx has a 3rd gen core i7 3610qm but a lowly geforce 630m. while the vaio is slightly more expensive but has a 7670m which i think is between the 6770m and the 630m.
I am a fairly regular gamer and will be using this laptop for atleast 3 years more so which one should I buy? The 7010tx looks good to me but the gfx card has let me down. can the ivy bridge compensate enough or should i go with either of the other two?
Please help ASAP

Hello and welcome to the forums
If you plan to play games regularly, then definitely go with 6770M/2670QM because the difference between the cards(6770 and 630) is notable;whereas, the performance difference between the CPUs isn't much

You should also take into account which screens these models have.

The "1366 x 768 BrightView" display makes things onscreen large, and has very poor image quality due to low contrast. It's also glossy.

The "1920 x 1080 Anti-Glare" display is excellent for multitasking because of how much you can fit onscreen, and it has very good image quality due to high contrast. The viewing angles are better than the stock display, and it's also matte.

Both HP and Sony do not offer customization options in my country. So i am stuck with the 1366x768 Brightview display. Also i think less resolution makes for better gaming on native resolution setting no?
