Hi,

Recently I tried to re flow my hp dv9310ca however when trying to pull out the usb 4 pin connector on the motherboard I broke the little white connector. All the 4 wires are intact but missing the white connector.(black, blue, green, white) Is there any way to fix this or purchase a new connector?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply, however its not the actual usb cable. This one is a tiny wire encased in black wire from the right of the case. They are just tiny 4 wire connectors. It has to do with the usb in some way but not the actual usb.

So there is no way to buy the white connector? I don't have a solder gun or solder. If I were to buy some just solder the 4 wires?

Also what if I were to just leave it and not fix it?

Thanks scout 😀

Im just going to leave it I can use the other 3 usb ports.

Thnkas a lot scout : D

I have one last question. 😛 Since the usb cable i use the most is broken(black white green blue) can switch a working usb cable like (black orange red brown) with the broken one? or will it not work.

Thanks

Im kind of a noob can you explain this. Basically can i switch out the blue black white green usb cable with the black orange red brown cable and still work?

Thanks

Aww so I cant mix the blue black white green with the black orange reed brown?
