This is strange problem: I can print from my phone but not my PC. I've uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it more than once. I've run system scans for errors with nothing to show. I don't have a clue what is going on. Please help.

Sometimes printers lose control over their Default Printer status and all your documents go to MS Office or Adobe PDF printer which are only folders.

Look in Control Panel>Devices and Printers to check there's a green tick on your HP Envy.

It is set as the default printer.

As an addendum. If, in fact, your printer is operating wireless, power cycle the printer before trying again. My own MFP M277dw will lose contact with the access point randomly when sleeping, a power cycle always brings it back.

What is the result of pinging the printer's IP address?

I have restarted my printer a few times. Nothing happened.

Printing a test page from the Properties page cuts out the PC and at least shows whether or not the printer can carry out its basic function. Right click on the printer's icon in Devices and Printers then click on Printer Properties then finally Print Test Page when te next form opens up.

Nothing printed.

Not that I am aware of. I'm prompted to confirm a connection when using my phone, which I've never had issues with.
