Solved! HP G6-2040nr motherboard upgrade

My model HP G6-2040nr is a A6-4400M motherboard and I have researched for a number of hours and a few threads here and seen that others have upgraded to a AMD A10-5750M 2.5GHz 8MB 2500MHz Quad-Core Socket FS1 CPU Processor. I just wanted to be extra sure that this would be compatible with my HP Laptop before I open 'er up and take it apart. CPU-Z says that my Bios is version F .05 (Date 05/10/2012) I would need to update my Bios if I were to upgrade, yes?

Also, if it is compatible should I try for a second hand AMD A10-5750M? I see a number being sold from China on eBay but I am leery, would these be okay to buy?
