Okay. So this is a lot and here goes.
Last night I was streaming a TV show off a website. (admitme.tv). All of a sudden the little triangle of yellowness popped up on my network icon and my video froze. I reconnected and I had internet, but the video wouldn't play. It was just black. I restarted chrome, installed Firefox, tried edge.. Nothing worked. I cant play ANY videos... YouTube, admit me, built in Netflix.. Eventually I just turned off my PC and went to bed this was about midnight.
This morning I wake up and boot up. The computer was acting strange already. The audio icon was invisible (http://prntscr.com/dm8y7k),
notifications get stuck in the corner, and sometimes the mouse button goes invisible with the only fix is restarting. (Still unable to play videos also). Routine features such as searching cortana lag when they shouldn't. I can't even hear any audio.

My Specs:
Intel Core i7-6700HQ @ 2.60GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M / Intel HD Graphics 530
8 GB DDR4 RAM

So the question: What can I do to fix this??

*also I just started noticing that when a notification is stuck and I click on the little message icon it goes away for a bit and then comes back.

Try launching the laptop in "Safe Mode" or "Safe Mode with Networking" and see if it works fine. If it does, you have something on the device that is causing the problem (bad program, virus, malware, etc.)

c. Press the "F6" key to Enable "Safe Mode" with Command Prompt.
(In "Safe Mode" with "Command Prompt" starts Windows in Safe Mode, with a Command Prompt window instead of the Windows interface. This option is mostly only used by IT professionals.)

Now sign in to the computer with your account name and password. (If you have one set.) When you are finished troubleshooting, you can exit "Safe Mode" restarting your computer.

In Windows 7/Vista/XP...

1. Immediately after turning on the computer, or restarting it (usually after you hear your computer beep), tap the F8 key, repeatedly, in 1 second intervals.

2. The computer will then display hardware information and run a memory test.

3. Next the "Advanced Boot Options" menu will appear.

4. In the "Advanced Boot Options" menu use the arrow keys to select "Safe Mode" or "Safe Mode with Networking" and press ENTER.
