I'm using HP pavillion g6 1117tx model laptop

is it possible to upgrade the cpu of my laptop

core i3-2310m processor


by the way I'm from India

nope. that cpu is soldered on laptop and laptops cpu are the most diff to change. sorry ur stick with that 1.

Yes with any of the following.

i7-2620M
i5-2540M
i5-2520M
i5-2410M

They are all 35watt CPU so nothing else will be needed, G6's are one of the few that can be upgraded. Socket PGA-988 they are not Soldered in. Check Ebay and Amazon they run around $35 to $90.

No only those I listed that I consider a upgrade will work that is all the board is designed to support.
