how to troubleshoot incorrect colour

If you are getting odd colour effects on your laptop it may be the ribbon cable to the screen. Generally these are not repairable so you have to replace the screen.

It may just be the connector is loose but these are usually well secured.

To test that it is not the graphics circuitry connect an external monitor.
