Above is a link to an HTPC (Home Theater PC) with a virtualized NAS build that I want to put together. The parts list says it will take approx. 285W to run but I will have 4 WD Green 3TB drives not just one like shown (I already own 3 so I don't need to buy them) so the power draw will be more like 330W. The 865W UPS is for the HTPC, reciever and surround sound.

So I would like to hear what you guys think of the build and any improvements you would make.

Why an i7 and 750 Ti, if it's an HTPC?

Wouldn't this be better for this purpose?

Max 4 drives, max 16 GB RAM, but without knowing exactly how you'll use the PC, then I can't do anything but say that your build is overkill. It depends on what OS you use, in Win 8 and 10, a normal hard drive boots about as fast as Windows 7 does with an SSD. I'm still a bit confused though.

All the best!
