Wotcha,
When trying to sync my IPAQ 5450 with Pocket PC 2003 and ActiveSync 3.7.1 to
an Exchange 2003 server using the USB cradle I am getting the error
'account does not have permission to sync with the current settings' ' error
code HTTP_400'. SSL is disabled and I can access http://servername/oma and
http://servername/exchange/username from both the PC and from the browser on
the IPAQ.
The weird thing is that if I change the user name in the activesync settings
to say domain/username, the IPAQ then stops and asks for credentials. If I
then alter the domain\username on the IPAQ back to just username it syncs !!
but only once.
Please help before I ritualistically burn the IPAQ and copy of
activesync....

There is a great site out there that has a list of most of these errors but
I can't Google it now but I've got it saved on my laptop and can get it
later.

Anyway I think this has to do with either Forms based security on the
Exchange server or your set to SSL on the ActiveSync options and your server
isn't listening. I've had that one before and it really wasn't to hard to
fix. Try turning off "My server requires SSL".

I'll try and find that web site and post the link.
