HYPER X CLOUD 2 PROBLEm!!!!!!

I recently got a Hyperx Cloud II, and I find that the mic is not working and wont pick up any sound . I've maxed the volume on the external volume control, and on whichever program it is that requires me to speak.

I look in my Playback settings and noticed that the microphone volume for the headset is set to 0, and I am unable to move it.


Does anyone know why i'm unable to adjust the volume?

So I got the hyper x cloud 2 today but the mic did not work so i tried to see with the input volume is up but it says zero and it won't let me move it from zero so my mic can be heard. Audio is good but the mic is not. Any idea on why the can't drag the bar from zero or fix the mic???
