I’m a stupid audio file

My Yamaha 3060 went into a protection mode when I unplugged some speakers! I guess I touched the amp with a banana plug. Is this a big deal it’s been off for 2 days. Can someone help me?

If it won't go out of protection and turn on without any speakers connected you have a problem. Sometimes protection doesn't work fast enough to save the receiver. You can try unplugging it from the AC outlet for 5 minutes to see if will reset but if that doesn't work I hope your warranty is still in effect. Blown amp channel is not a cheap repair.

Hold 'main zone' on the front of the unit for 10 seconds - this should force a system reset.

If it doesn't then you need to take it to a yamaha service centre.
