i.5 dell inspiron 7200U Earphones being recognized but not playing

i plug in earphones and the max audio shows earphones plugged in but doesnt work have tried on other machines it works but on mine it doesnt kindly assist

They probably try to avoid you hearing the sound at room volume so you may need to make some adjustments in your sound settings in Control Panel.
