I am calling a verizon prepaid number of a friend and it says call ended

Any ways like my questions say i just talk to the person yesterday and they was ok now today i cant even get a voicemail or a ring.out of the number it just hangs up saying call ended
Why is it doing this there phone is verizon

Is yours the only number that it's doing this to? Could be many reasons, they may have the phone set to do not disturb, issue with their account, they could be hanging up on you, there may be an issue with your service or their phone is broken and the call answer does not work, phone may be off.
