I Am having the same issue ... In a big trouble .. Need help please ... I am left with a Screen with no display and tv is not

I wanted to project my laptop screen to my Tv with HDMI cable . So I switched on duplicate my screen and after that my Laptop screen went blank .. and tv is not showing anything either ... now when ever i start my laptop it doesnot show anything in my screen .. Need help badly!!

Did you fully shut down the laptop and turn it on again?
